Malknarh

A ConScript by Maknas.

Origins

Internal: The Malknarh script is used by almost all languages in the East-Arakhelian language branch, and each symbol is ultimately descended from the Proto-Arakhelian hieroglyphs.

External:

Notable Features:

  • Written right to left in horizontal lines
  • An alphabet, although early forms were apparently an abjad.
  • When used with another language, some diacritics are added for extra sounds.

Used to write: Most of the languages in the East-Arakhelian language branch, notably Malknarh, Kres, Zhekurian

There are two letters representing the sound [k]. Usually, kalt is used, but in word-final positions, kelet is used instead.
